Speak to a person
A person answers the telephone. Not a menu, and not a form that promises a reply within two working days.
How to reach us
- Telephone
- 07887 478594
- Message us on WhatsApp
- When a person answers
- Our hours of business are still to be confirmed. While a booking of yours is running, somebody answers this number at any time. That is our own undertaking rather than a rule we are held to, and we would rather say which it is.
- Details to follow
- The address we operate from
- Centre 42, 42 Watling Street, Radlett, Hertfordshire WD7 7NN. Open it in a map
- Where a complaint goes
- To us, on the telephone number above. Making a complaint, below, sets out each step.
While you are travelling
Call us and quote your booking reference. It is on your confirmation and in every message we send you. Whoever answers can reach your chauffeur, move the pickup, or deal with anything else about the booking.
If you are in danger, call 999 first and us second. If you are not sure the car in front of you is ours, do not get in: check the registration against the message we sent you, and call us.
How to be sure you are getting into the right car, and what the chauffeur carries instead of a plate on the back.
Making a complaint
- Call 07887 478594. Ask for the complaint to be recorded.
- We give it a reference, tell you who is handling it, and keep the record for at least twelve months, which our licence requires of us.
- If you are not satisfied with how we have dealt with it, it goes to the council that licenses us, and the next paragraph says how.
You can also complain in writing to Hertsmere Borough Council, the authority that licenses us, at licensing.taxis@hertsmere.gov.uk. If a crime may have been committed, call the police on 999 in an emergency or 101 otherwise. Where a complaint alleges violence, a sexual offence, or a risk to a child or a vulnerable adult, we report it to the council and the police immediately.
We handle every complaint the same way, whoever carried out the booking and however it was made. The complaints procedure sets out each step and how long it takes, and licensing.taxis@hertsmere.gov.uk opens a message to the council itself.
Lost property
Call with your booking reference. We record a lost item against the booking and against the chauffeur, so the search starts from the right car rather than from a description of it, and we tell you what we found within 24 hours.
Money, a telephone and an identity document are the exceptions: our licence requires those to be taken straight to the nearest police station, so ask us for the station and the reference rather than expecting us to be holding them.
How long we keep a found item, and how you get yours back. Help with a booking answers the rest.
