What people ask

I have left something in the car. What should I do?

Call the telephone number at the foot of every page straight away, with your booking reference if you have it. The sooner we know, the more likely we can reach the chauffeur before their next journey.

How long do you keep found items?

Three months from the day they are found, which is what condition 36 of our operator licence requires. Money, a telephone and an identity document such as a passport or driving licence are a different matter: condition 39 requires those to go straight to the nearest police station, so ask us for the station and the reference rather than expecting us to be holding them.

How do I get my item back?

Collect it free of charge, have it posted or sent by courier at a cost we tell you before sending, or have a chauffeur bring it at our normal fixed price. If it was left behind because of our mistake, we return it free.

How do I show the item is mine?

Describe it, give us your booking reference, and bring photo identification if you collect it. Never send us a password, PIN or card number, because we will never ask for one.

Can you look inside my phone or bag to find out it is mine?

No. We do not open or look through phones, laptops or bags, though we may read an outside label or luggage tag.

Will you contact me if you find something of mine?

Yes. When anything is found in one of our cars we log it and use the booking details to contact the passenger, and we record every attempt we make.
