Terms of service
The terms you book under. Every booking records the version in force when it was made, and that version is what governs it.
Version 2026-09-1, in effect from 13 September 2026.
This is not the version in force today. It is shown because a booking was made under it, and it is what governs that booking. Read the current version.
1Who you are contracting with
Your agreement is with the licensed private hire operator named at the foot of every page, holding the Transport for London operator licence shown there. We contract with you as principal. That means we carry out the booking, we take the payment, and we are answerable to you for it, whether the car is driven by one of our own chauffeurs or by a partner operator working for us.
Where a partner operator carries out your booking, the booking record holds their name and their own operator licence number as well as ours.
2The price
The price shown when you book is fixed. It includes the congestion charge, the low emission charges, any tolls on the route, the airport fees for your pickup or drop-off, the parking needed for your free waiting, and meeting you inside the terminal where that applies.
Nothing mandatory is added at checkout. Anything optional that changes the price — a child seat, an extra stop, a longer wait — is offered before you see the price, so the price you see is final.
The price is charged when you book. We do not hold your card details; they are held by our payment provider.
3What we will do
We will assign a chauffeur licensed by Transport for London, driving a licensed and insured private hire vehicle, and we will tell you their first name, their driver licence number and the registration of the car before the pickup.
We will be at the pickup at the time you booked. For an airport arrival we watch the flight and the free waiting starts when the aircraft lands.
A person can be reached on the telephone number at the foot of this page during our hours of business and at any time while your booking is running.
4What we ask of you
Give us a telephone number that will be answered on the day, and tell us the correct number of passengers and bags. A car that cannot carry the party that turns up is the one failure we cannot fix at the kerb.
Please do not smoke in the car, and please tell us in advance if you are travelling with an assistance dog, a wheelchair or a mobility aid so the right car comes. There is no charge for any of those.
You are responsible for any damage to the vehicle caused deliberately or through misuse, at the cost of putting it right.
5Changing or cancelling
Cancellation is governed by our cancellation policy, and by the version of it in force when you booked. Your confirmation links to that exact version and so does the booking in your account.
Passenger transport is outside the fourteen-day right to cancel that applies to most things bought online, so our own policy is what governs, and it is written to be read in under a minute.
To change a booking, use the "Request a change" link on it. We re-price the change against the rate card your booking was made on and tell you the difference before anything is charged or refunded.
6If something goes wrong
Call us. The number is at the foot of every page and a person answers it. If you would rather write, the complaints address is on our contact page.
We record every complaint with a reference, tell you who is handling it, and keep the record for as long as our licence requires.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
7Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
